> E-Coat Anode Cell Warranty
EMT-Synder Filtration guarantees all of their TechCELL Tubular Anode
Cell Membrane Shells to be free from defects in design, materials
or workmanship for a period of three (3) years after receipt of shipment
provided that no equipment malfunction, operational error or negligence
is responsible for membrane shell failure. Any written instructions
that may be provided by EMT-Synder Filtration must be followed. The
Anode Pipe is sacrificial by nature, and therefore is not covered
under this guarantee.
A membrane shell covered under this guarantee will be replaced free
of charge, F.O.B. Vacaville, CA, USA, for the first 90 days (from
date of shipment). During the remaining warranty period, failed membrane
shell replacement will be on a pro-rated basis, F.O.B. Vacaville,
CA, USA. The pro-rated price will be the current list price of the
membrane shell multiplied by the number of days elapsed since startup,
divided by the length of warranty in days.
Conditions of Warranty:
The warranty/guarantee offered by EMT-Synder Filtration shall be void
if the following conditions are not met:
- Buyer/User shall notify EMT-Synder Filtration in writing, immediately,
if membrane shell(s) appear defective and shall provide EMT-Synder
Filtration the opportunity to make inspections, tests and repairs
using the most efficient and cost effective methods available. Buyer/User
will need to fill out standard EMT-Synder RGA form and return product
for inspection within 30 days, otherwise the full price of any replacements
already shipped will be invoiced to the buyer/user. If EMT-Synder
Filtration is not responsible under the terms of this warranty,
then the Buyer/User may be held responsible for the costs/expenses
incurred by EMT-Synder Filtration.
- Buyer/User is responsible for maintaining a full and accurate
log of all daily operating and storage procedures. EMT-Synder Filtration
may request the records in the warranty evaluation.
- Membrane shells must receive 0.1 gpm (anolyte supply)/sq.ft of
anode area. Maximum allowed current draw is 5 amps/sq.ft of anode
area. Anolyte solution must be maintained to its intended composition
and conductivity, and must also be free of bacteria and/or other
potential foulants.
Return of Membrane Shells:
EMT-Synder Filtration requires that all
membrane shells for warranty evaluation be returned, freight prepaid,
to 4941 Allison Parkway, Vacaville, CA 95688. A Returned Goods
Authorization number must first be obtained from EMT-Synder
Filtration prior to shipping any membrane shell(s). The membrane shell(s)
must be free of biological growth and sealed in an air/water tight
bag before returning. Failure to return membrane element(s) in this
manner may void warranty.
Restocking returns:
EMT-Synder Filtration will not restock any returned membrane shells
because they are custom built to individual customers’ specifications.

or statutory including merchantability beyond what is declared above
