Synder launches new "NFX" Nanofiltration Membranes
August 10, 2009
Synder Filtration's new 'NFX' Nanofiltration membrane provides high quality liquid separation with tremendous efficiency. NFX membranes have an approximate molecular weight cut-off of 150-300 Daltons, with an average MgSO4 rejection of 99% or higher. This rejection is a significant improvement over conventional NF membranes that only promise 98% rejection.

NFX Membranes
The NFX membrane is the ideal choice for rejecting divalent and multivalent ions. The lower operating pressures required by the NFX membrane creates a significant savings in operating costs compared to reverse osmosis membranes. Synder’s new NFX Nanofiltration membrane can be used to greatly reduce levels of heavy metals, hardness, nitrates, sulfates, tannins, color and solids.

The high rejection rate and low operating pressure of the NFX membrane offers a new level of performance with significant operational cost savings.
