Installation of the TechCELL requires an electrical supply, mechanical
support, and an anolyte recirculation system. AB TechCELL systems
require 2 smaller anolyte systems (one for each type of cell).
Electrical Supply: The units are connected to a DC bus bar with
a cable lead (separable with quick disconnects) via a copper setscrew
lug that typically accepts up to five cable leads (100 amp rated
minimum).
Mechanical Support: The typical installation uses 1-5/8"
series strut channel and standard clamps. To mount the channel:
With the backside of the channel approximately 3/4" off
the paint tank inside wall, the bottom channel is mounted immediately
above the tank rim. The top channel is then mounted at least
6" in the center above the bottom channel. These channels
both require vertical support at no more than 5' center to center
down the entire span of channel.

Anolyte Circulation System(s): The anolyte supply is pumped through
the supply manifold to where the individual cells are mounted. The
solution is then directed from the supply manifold to each individual
cell at a rate of approximately .6 GPM through 3/8" PVC tubing.
The anolyte is removed from the cell through an overflow nozzle
and flows to the return manifold via 1/2" PVC tubing. On cells
longer than 114", use 3/4" return tubing.
