Water Quality Specifications

Water quality used for cleaning of Synder Filtration membranes is of utmost importance in order to avoid unwanted deposits on the membranes originating from the water. Specifically important is the content of deposit-forming compenents such as iron, manganese, and silicates. Water used for Synder Filtration membrane-based systems must meet the following requirements at any time:

Requirements on flushing/CIP water quality

Iron (Fe)	<0.05ppm
Manganese	<0.02ppm
Silicate (SiO2)	<5ppm
Aluminum	<0.05ppm
Hardness	<85ppm as CaCO3
Particle size	<10 micron
Turbidity	<1 NTU
